Abstract:

Due to the social nature of man, urban spaces such as squares are considered to be the most important manifestations of social nodes in urban life. While these squares take historical forms, they have such special place and time significance that cognitive documentation of this phenomenon as a major pillar of urban spaces can be used to qualitatively identify squares and public realms that are the foundation of social interaction. In order to have the knowledge of their morphological evaluation to express design principles, consulting with urban design experts is a must. The traditional evaluation of the urban square, due to its specific qualitative dimensions, was considered as a qualitative judgment which often had a high error rate in the survey, so the majority of the studies, generally, are qualitative and based on pure analysis. The purpose of the current research is the phenomenological recognition and qualitative analysis of urban space. Using a combination of several methods, first, the field element in the quality recognition matrix and the six Wolfrum criteria as well as sixteen urban squares were selected from the European cities, In the first stAGE, by means of Human Subjective Evaluation and Normalized AccumulatedQuality Graph Output, the numerical value was accumulated and then analyzed using the Automatic Geography Evaluation method. Finally, examining the correlation of these two methods led to the qualitative measurement of these urban elements. First, the selected ones were evaluated through HSE method analysis and NAQ extraction primary evaluation about human approach oriented was done. Second, using the AGE method in the analysis, the researchers evaluated the next step of that up to geometrical automotive and correlation between them. The results of the present study showed that this urban element had many dimensions to be quantitatively extracted. Last, all of the models for evaluation of square qualities in this study are considered the primary step to help the researchers have a functional standard draft while designing.

Abstract:

Abstract:

The current research was conducted with the aim of the EFFECT of attachment style on emotion regulation with the mediating role of identity style. The research method was descriptive and structural equation analysis. The statistical population of the research was all second year high school students of Kashan city in the academic year of 1400-1401, of which 500 people were selected by random cluster method. Data were collected based on three questionnaires: Gross & Jan (2003) Emotional Regulation Inventory, Identity Style Scale (6G-ISI) and Collins and Reid (1990) Attachment Style Questionnaire. The data are obtained by structural equation modeling and using Laserl 8.8 and 26 spss software. analyzed. Based on the results, secure attachment style at a significance level of 0.01, avoidant attachment style at a significance level of 0.05, and ambivalent attachment style at a significance level of 0.01 directly predicted emotion regulation. Among the three attachments, secure attachment style predicted emotion regulation at a significant level of 0.01, with the mediation of identity styles. Informational identity style at a significance level of 0.01, confused identity style at a significance level of 0.05 directly predicted emotion regulation. Among the three attachments, only the secure attachment style at a significance level of 0.01 had a significant role in predicting the normative identity style. According to the results of this study, emotion regulation is one of the most important constructs of educational psychology and an important factor in determining mental health and successful performance. It is in education that the factors affecting emotion regulation and its antecedents should be identified. Planning for training and holding educational workshops in this field in schools is suggested for students.

Abstract:

2Background and Aim:  Children under five years are susceptible to being infected by Acute gastroenteritis (AGE) pathogens. Therefore, the main objective of the present research is to study the epidemiology and the etiology of AGE among children in Saudi Arabia. Materials and Methods:  In this retrospective study, multiplex PCR was used to detect the gastroenteric viruses, including RoVA (Rotavirus A), NoVGI (Norovirus Group I), NoVGII (Norovirus Group II), HAstV (Human Astrovirus), EAdV (Enteric Adenovirus), and HEV (Human Enterovirus) in 92 stool samples collected from pediatric children AGEd ≤7 admitted to hospitals in Al-Ahsa province in Saudi Arabia, during December 2021 to June 2022. Results:  Out of the 92 samples tested, 63 (68. 4%) showed positive results, indicating the presence of at least one gastroenteric virus infection. RoV group A was the most detected virus at 54%, followed by HAstV at 27%, EAdV at 22. 2%, NoVGI at 9. 5%, and HEV at 6. 3%. Gastroenteric virus mono-infection was much higher than co-infection, at 79. 3%. Children in the AGE group (1Y-2Y) were the most infected with viral AGE at 41. 3% compared with other groups. Male children were more infected than females at 38%. The main viral AGE symptoms revealed in all positive children were diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, and fever, with rates of 100%, 95. 2%, 92. 1%, and 81%, respectively. Conclusion:  Results demonstrated that the prevalence of gastroenteric infections among children is relevant and should be considered by the national health authority. This study is the first work conducted in the province of Al-Ahsa in Saudi Arabia. It could improve epidemiological and etiological data on children's AGE in the province

Abstract:

There have been several reports of a significant positive correlation between paternal AGE and chromosome telomere length in offspring. Moreover, the telomeres in sperm cells of older men tend to be longer than in young men, and it has been concluded that telomeres lengthen in the testes during adulthood. This would be the first evidence of an increasing biological advantAGE with AGE, and therefore contradicts current models in which telomere shortening is a biomarker of aging. Instead, an alternative model of telomere erosion between human generations is discussed in which longer germ cell telomeres in old men result from their being members of a previous generation. Based on the well-known correlation between maternal AGE and the incidence of aneuploid pregnancies, it is hypothesized that telomere erosion predominantly operates in the female germline, leading to a carry-over EFFECT for both sexes into the next generation. This theory fits well with experimental results that maternal AGE does not correlate with longer telomeres in offspring. An experimental design is presented to distinguish be-tween the two possible scenarios leading to old fathers with long-telomered offspring - namely lifetime lengthening in the testis versus transgenerational germline erosion. Consideration of net loss of telomeric DNA between human generations is supported by recent findings of a large difference in blood telomere length between different Euro-pean populations of the same AGE, and is likely to have profound consequences for species evolution.

Abstract:

Introduction: Various factors affect the distribution of stress and fracture resistance of restored teeth by post and core. One of the major causes is the remaining body of the teeth, (ferrule) which was embraced by crown. The purpose of this study was to asses the EFFECT of developing the ferrule via a crown lengthening procedure, on the fracture strength of endodontically treated teeth. Materials & Methods: 24 recently extracted second premolar of mandible was selected in this descriptive study and their crowns were cut so far that no more than 15 mm of the root remained. Then they were divided randomly into two groups of 12 and their canals were undergone rootcanal therapy. In the first group, a post–core and full metal crowns were made without ferrule, while in the second group with changing in the optimum ratio of the crown/root height, 2mm ferrule was designed and then the cast post- core and full-metal crowns were made. Finally, in both groups, a compressive load with 1 mm per minute speed and an angle to 150 on the long axis of the tooth was applied. The force was exerted in mesial marginal ridge, in 7 teeth and on the buccal cusp edge in the other 5 teeth to induce fracture. Statistical analysis of the data was performed with student t-test, chi-square and two-way ANOVA analyses. Results: 1. There was a significant difference between the mean of fracture load in the ferrule and non-ferrule groups (P<0.001). 2. No significant difference in the mean fracture load was observed when the load was applied in the buccal-cusp edge instead of mesial marginal ridge. Conclusion: By adding a 2 mm cervical ferrule on top of the finishing line of mandibular premolars restored by cast post-core and crown, we can increase the fracture resistance of these teeth.

Abstract:

One of the important issues in the production of concrete is environmental variability that affects the concrete and elements constructed from this material. Due to the importance of different characteristics of concrete in short- and long-term conditions, this article aims to investigate the influence of initial temperature conditions of self-compacting concrete on its long-term characteristics and determine the initial optimal temperature of concrete. For these purposes, several experiments under three temperature conditions of 5, 20, and 40 degree-of-Celsius were conducted to evaluate the rheology and mechanical properties of fresh concrete in the range of 7 and 28 days. In these experiments, alternative mineral admixtures of cement such as micro-silica, fly ash, and zeolite were used to build the concrete specimens. Results demonstrate that the mechanical properties of the specimens increase with increasing initial temperature in the short term, while such properties significantly decrease in the long term compared to the specimens constructed under lower initial temperature. Moreover, the fluidity of self-compacting concrete increases with increasing initial temperature.

Abstract:

The EFFECT of number of mating on longevity and fecundity of the predatory mite Euseius scutalis Athias-henriot was studied under laboratory conditions (at 25±1 ºC, 60 ± 5 % RH and 16: 8 L:D). Newly emerged adult females (less than 24 h) were held individually in a 9 cm arena. A male (less than 24 h) remained with a female for limited periods of time or continuously. Four treatments were designed: virgin females, single mated females, multiple mated females (female had access to a male every five days), multiple mated females (female had continuous access to a male). Mating was necessary for oviposition. Virgin females lived the longest (25 days). However, no significant differences were found among longevity of mated females (12- 15). Similarly, no significant differences were detected among fecundity of females with different numbers of mating (18- 22 eggs). Sex ratio was significantly female-biased in progeny of single mated females and multiple mated females with periodic access to male. However, no significant difference was found in sex ratio of progeny of multiple mated females with continuous access to male.
